A Few Things

well, havent had time to blog for a while. hmmm, thats a lie. last night i did nothing. anyway, whatever, im here now.


so i hired a car last week with amy to go to the rhcp. it was great fun. driving was awesome. more fun than the concert, though we did have particularly good seats. right on the side of the stage about 10 rows back. i didnt know a lot of the songs as they were off the new album, but they still played a few oldies. one very cute thing was flea's kid watching from the side of the stage. i guess it was his, he went over to say hi a few times. but this kid was like 6 months old. he had little ear muffs on and was boppin away to the music. very very cute.

i kept the car for an extra day and FINALLY managed to go on a 2nd date with matt. for almost 2 weeks we kept trying to see each other again -other than at each others work- but plans kept falling through. he got food poisoning from my restaurant last weekend. then one night when we were both free and didnt have to work early, he had a huge fight with the rents and couldnt really go out. but we finally got it together, and went on a date to ikea. cute huh? well, i had the car and really wanted to go, so he came with and followed me around, and carried my stuff. such a gentleman. then we went home, had some beers watched telly, ate. went to bed. pretty normal really.

i am super excited now though because the cat empire are playing on friday night here in ottawa, at the same place as ben lee. i saw the sign yesterday and went and bought tickets immediately. matt is very excited also. yay. super pumped. super super.

yesterday, work was really busy and the kitchen was like 30 minutes behind on food. one of my tables complained so much that the manager on duty promo'd their whole bill. then when julie, the super scary super bitch of a gm, came in she yelled at all the day staff. to make matter worse, tonight i was given a formal warning for not clearing ashtrays. it was so dead at work, i have absolutely no excuse, but its a shitty thing to happen the very next day. crap crap crappity crap.
