Act I
oh dear, i have never read a Very First Blog before, so i dont really know what to write in a Very First Blog...
do i just start to diarise my happenings, or do i give a Brief History of Me?
tonight i am meeting my NOVA colleagues for a spot of karaoke and, im sure, much drinking and merriment. we still remain undecided as to whether we should take the all-you-can-eat-and-drink-and-sing-for-2-hours package, or just go for regular karaoke. my guess is it will be regular karaoke, though with my current hormonal and emotional state i shouldnt really be adding alcohol into the equation.... will probably end up rather messy.
the main reason for a Night Out, is the arrival of our new teachers coby -from canada, and linton -from australia. rather sad to be one of the Old Crew here now -at only 8 months!
trying very hard to settle back into Life In Japan after my 10 day sojourn to mother england. so lovely to see my dad and of course the wonderful Jo. was excellent to see girls of all shapes and sizes -especially working behind the counter at esprit, or h&m! was even more excellent to fit into the clothes!!! yay! so of course bought lots of things, and how exciting that tesco sells clothes now -and Nice clothes too. ate copious amounts of English Food, lots of meat and potatoes.
...gosh, i feel ive only just started and i need to go and glam up for my night out. it does take a bit of work, all this formatting and templates... hope im not too Worn Out.
before i go i need to post a link to my favorite blog ever: PostSecret. unfortunately i cant think of a secret to send in as im not very good at Keeping Secrets and seem to have told all of mine at least once...

This is your mother speaking! I wondered where you'd gone! Come home at once! Your dinner is getting cold and your room is in a state. I have no idea what to do with the guinea pigs and the snake is lost somewhere in the house.There has been a drop in the mice appearances so that's one plus for it. I thought I felt something strange in the bed last night but it was only my vibrator which had somehow turned itself on at 3am.What am I to do with the cactus collection??? is Japan far away? Isnt that where they dropped the bomb? Good grief, get to Canada as fast as you can at least they only have maple syrup there and thats not radioactive.. all my love, Mother
Great stuff. You will soon realise your life is a series of random (mostly drunken) Karaoke events & you need to come to England for some REAL culture...we need more bellringers.
